Arched Window
Arched windows-also referred to as Roman or arcade-style windows-feature a rounded top, typically shaped like a half-circle. The name originates from Romanesque architecture, where arches were commonly supported by columns. These windows are often found in older buildings or commercial spaces, and became especially popular again in the 1990s when decorative architectural elements were widely embraced.
Even today, arched windows serve as a distinctive design element. When matched with the right architectural style, they can create a warm, inviting atmosphere and add unique character to a home. Due to their custom shape, arched windows tend to be more expensive to manufacture than standard rectangular windows.
