Inactive Window Sash

An inactive window sash, unlike the active sash, is part of a multi-sash window system and is typically opened less frequently-usually after the active sash. In many window designs, the inactive sash functions primarily as an additional glazing element, increasing the overall glass surface without serving as the main source of ventilation or access to natural light.
