Window Recycling
Today, windows made from any material are nearly 100% recyclable. Modern automated recycling facilities ensure efficient and environmentally responsible processing of materials.
uPVC windows are typically shredded first, then the small components are separated through an automated sorting process. The uPVC parts are then processed into granules and reintroduced into the manufacturing cycle.
Aluminum windows can also be recycled and reused, and the same applies to wooden windows. However, wood is generally processed into material for wood-based panels and is no longer reused for window production.
